The Sales Specialist plays a key role in ensuring proactiveness and efficiency in KONE regional sales and marketing. As part of KONE’s London & Southeast sales team you will be responsible for prospecting, lead handling and sales support activities especially in the pre-sales phase of sales cycle.

Internally you will closely collaborate with KONE Sales Executives, Construction Managers and Service Portfolio Managers allowing a holistic introduction to the business. This entry level sales role aims to develop your sales and customer skills with an opportunity to evolve to other sales or customer service roles. Success in this role will require proactivity, service mindset, organisational skills, and curiosity to understand customer needs.

Responsibilities And Key Activities
• Prospecting the market for upcoming projects and key customers.
• Contacting customers to pre-qualify sales leads and to start early project engagement.
• Managing the web-lead process from online sales channels.
• Supporting Sales Executives in tendering & negotiation (desk quoting, meeting preparation, presentations).
• Supporting sales teams with green building calculations and customer pre-qualification questionnaires.
• Managing key customer and project data quality in CRM as part of key account management.
• Supporting organisation of marketing events, sales campaigns, and company conferences.
• Support salespeople in keeping sales funnel and CRM data up to date.

Skills And Experience Required
• Customer service mindset - desire to understand what creates value to our customers and courage to experiment in innovate thinking.
• Excellent interpersonal and team working skills.
• Effective communication skills in English (written and spoken).
• Previous experience in Sales or customer service is essential.
• Handling customer questions & inquiries.
• Attention to detail.
• Good IT skills.
• Collaborative team member.
• Engineering or Commercial degree is considered as a positive.
